Trayvon Martin vs George Zimmerman Rally the Ignorant

I find this situation fascinating. The reality of one event has been skewed to the extent of generating hatred for what imo was an innocent man defending himself.

I recently found this (almost completely false) account of what happened

Martin, a 17 year old black male, walks on a Sunday night from his father's townhouse in a gated community to a store to buy Skittles and iced tea.
On the way back from the store, Martin is spotted by George Zimmerman, neighborhood watch captain on patrol.
Zimmerman calls 911 to report suspicious person; 911 operator tells Zimmerman police en route & not to pursue.
Zimmerman nevertheless pursues Martin, first in his SUV, then on foot.
Zimmerman shoots Martin in the chest 70 feet from Martin's home. Martin dies.
Several witnesses report hearing Martin cry for help before the gunshot.
Zimmerman claims self defense. Local police file no charges.

here's an image of Trayvon from 5 years ago they like to post to add to the illusion of Trayvon's innocence
Why don't they post a more recent photo? I'm sure he's had another picture more recently, right?

You know what I love to do right before I gun down an 'innocent' kid out of racial hate?? I like to call the cops. That's sarcasm in case you were wondering.

I am not sure how this happens, but George Zimmerman's family claims it was George screaming for help; and Troy Martin's family swear it was Troy screaming for help; An eye witness states they saw George calling for help and that becomes speculation? Obviously an eye-witness account TRUMPS a mother's opinion of her child.

I wish I could say to people, 'Just look at the evidence and decide', but apparently people are too idiotic, and pick and choose, especially when the media hand picks fabricated details to share, and generate the thought of a completely different situation.

Oh look here's a more recent image of Trayvon

From my research, I've developed my grey account for the events that took place. Here goes

Trayvon visits a home in a gated community with his father. Trayvon decides to go get a snack from a store not too far from the house(less than 1/4 mile), only something a confident 17 year old would do. On Trayvon's way back from the store, around 7:15pm, George see's the 6'1" 160lb guy walking through his neighborhood and doesn't recognize him, so he contacts the police. Worried about the safety of his community, follows Trayvon, first in his SUV, then on foot. At this point, Trayvon is probably getting nervous thinking 'why is this guy following me'. George finally catches up to and says something to Trayvon, my guess is 'you need to get the ______ out of my neighborhood' which Trayvon takes as a completely racists remark. The nervous tension Trayvon was feeling boils into a rage. Trayvon attacks George in his fury, and George becomes genuinely concerned for his own safety. George calls for help several times but sees no one coming to his aid. George Decides the only way to prevent serious bodily harm or death to himself, is to shoot this attacker.

Now the problem with my version is it exposes some societal flaws that are media fed. Travon's belief that he was being stalked because of his race infuriated him into attacking George. The true lesson to be learned from this is one of self control.

Now the question comes to mind, what does the media have to gain from this clear deception? Several things, actually.
1) your attention. They get paid per view, not per fact.
2) control. They've gained influence for being the authority to shed light on such an atrocity
3) more potential financial gain. I can guarantee you that the end target result is a lawsuit against the state. They are trying to use ignorant people to squeeze the government to make a nice glass of lemon aid for themselves.

The main stream media is what drove Trayvon into believing George was being racist. The concept that rich white people from gated communites are racist is constantly being pushed on our youth. And ironically, they are using a story caused by a misconception of racism to generate the illusion of racism, and perpetuate the ignorance to new heights.

If something drives you to anger, educate yourself on it before you get behind it.
